Our Discipleship Programs

Awana has partnered with Barrie Free Methodist Church to be able to offer their program, providing us with resources that engage your children and youth in long-term discipleship, relationship and mentoring.  Awana has been developing these programs and curriculum for over 65 years with a gifted team of writers.

Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ.  Awana establishes welcoming, supportive environments where kids, from every background and cultural setting, learn how a personal relationship with Christ affects their everyday lives.

Cubbies

AGES 3-4

Cubbies displays the greatness of God’s character to preschoolers who are constantly asking questions!

Sparks

AGES 5-7

Sparks ignites the curiosity of kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.

Truth & Training

GRADES 3/4 and GRADES 5/6

Truth & Training (T&T), ushers tweens on a journey to know God and His Word, love and need their Saviour, and live out their faith in the ever-changing world around them.

Time:  6:30 – 8:00PM
When:  Mondays weekly from Sept – May
Location:  at the church, 290 Cundles Rd E, Barrie
Cost:  $100 per child (includes shirt or vest, bag, and book)
$90 for additional children in the same family
