Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over ten thought-provoking weekly sessions. It’s low-key, friendly and fun – and is supported by all the main Christian denominations worldwide!
Who is Alpha for?
Everyone is welcome on an Alpha course and people attend for a wide variety of reasons. Some want to investigate whether God exists and if there is any point to life; others are concerned about what happens after death. Still others may have attended church off and on all their lives but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith. People come from many different backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints.
The Alpha Course is held in a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere in small home groups. Each evening includes a meal, a video (with Nicky Gumbel) addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith, and a time of discussion afterward. Each session people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything!
ASK ANYTHING. Alpha is a place where no question is regarded as too simple or too hostile.
