Why Worship? 2016-11-26T04:15:52+00:00

Worship is a matter of the heart expressed through a lifestyle

The purpose of worship is to glorify, honor, praise, & exalt God. Our worship must show our adoration and loyalty
to God for His grace and mercies in our lives.

Corporate Worship

Why We Meet Together

We believe that the Church is God’s primary instrument, through which He is fulfilling His redemptive plan in the earth.  Church equips the saints for the work of ministry.  We also affirm the importance that every Christian be joined with and actively involved in a local community.  We believe the local church must be a positive presence and respond to the needs of the surrounding community.  Sunday Mornings is a time we can humbly serve one another and bond as a family of faith, celebrating what he has done and is doing in our lives.

Worship in Music

Why We Sing

We sing songs of worship to God about God. We believe that singing together joins us in unity as we proclaim who Jesus is. Our musical style of worship crosses genres and we sing a mix of hymns and contemporary songs.

Prayer

Why We Pray

Prayer is a conversation between us and God — we pray because it builds relationship with Jesus.  It’s not about rules, it is about relationship through this conversation.  We seek God and his direction for our lives.  We believe that prayer changes things, gives us wisdom, strength and understanding, when we ask.  When we pray our relationship with God grows & deepens.

The Bible

Why We Read The Bible

The value and meaning of life are found in this book.  It is God’s way of revealing Himself, His plans and His purposes to every person.  The study and application of these words can change your life.  Though penned by man, it is inspired by God.  As a result, we believe it must be taken seriously as the final authority for our lives, therefore it ought to be read regularly and studied diligently.
